Happy Rosh Hashanah 2023!

On Friday 15th September we hosted an activity morning for Rosh Hashanah! We were very lucky to be joined by one of our parents Mr Grant, who delivered wonderful group times for our pre-school children to learn more about how we celebrate the Jewish new year. All of the children across the nursery joined in with fun activities throughout the week, such as apple printing and tasting apple dipped in honey, which is a special sweet treat to welcome in the new year. Mr Grant showed us how to blow a shofar, showed us challah bread and some special items of clothing like a kippah.
