We were very excited to welcome 10 eggs ready to be hatched with the Living Egg Company on Monday 25th April! On the second day the first chick made an appearance and the others quickly followed over the next couple of days. The children loved seeing them grow and help care for our special visitors. We talked about the lifecycle of a chicken, explored their features and how to tell the difference between the boys and girls.
On Friday 6th May, we said goodbye to our chicks, but we know they will be very happy to have more space as they move to free-range local farms.
